One New Year’s resolution I’ll have no trouble keeping: I’m waving Facebook goodbye.
I’m simply fed up. The company has proven time and again that users are nothing to them but a commodity to be bought and sold. They are deceptive in their practices, and aren’t about creating community, but making money at any and all costs. Their security practices are a joke as well, and nothing is safe with them.
I’ll be using my blog here for pretty much all of my posting now. I’m looking forward to conversing with you here! I’ll link to the blogs from my page here, but not much more than that. My email, if you need to reach me, is keithw_@_keithwardfiction.com (remove the underscores to get the real address; I’m trying to avoid spam).
My Twitter handle is @KeithWardWrite, if you want to connect with me that way. I’ll still check Facebook, but rarely. I just can’t stand what they do anymore. (Note that this isn’t some call for others to do the same; it’s just a personal opinion.)
(My Keith Ward Fiction FB page will remain active, but much like my personal page, it’ll only be a place to link to my articles from here.)
